- 1 cup butter 2 sticks, 226g
- 1 ½ cups sugar 300g
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour 388g
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- Decorative Sugar or Sprinkles optional
Preheat oven to 350°F. In a Large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla. Beat until combined.
In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture. Mix by hand until combined. Refrigerate dough for at least 20 minutes.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Scoop cookies 3 to 4 tbsps at a time. We want big cookies. Roll the dough balls in the dusting sugar and place them on the cookie sheet.
Baking on 350°F until bottom of cookie is slightly golden (11-13 mins).
Let cookies cool on cookie sheet.
